Sam for
NNEA President

United We Bargain

Hi!

Thanks for checking out my campaign website! I am running for President to make the Newport News Education Association a strong advocate for the rights of educators in our workplace.

I will work to pass a Collective Bargaining resolution, and ultimately win a strong contract for the members of the NNEA. Additionally, I will focus on increasing democracy and transparency within our union, working to make our organization one that reflects the will and interests of our members. More about my platform is available under Issues.

Check out my biography to learn more about who I am and what I have accomplished. Please don't hesitate to reach out - I am always excited to talk about the NNEA and connect with other members.

I know that the strength of the union rests on the connections between our members, and so I am running alongside other members who are also committed to building up our union from the bottom-up. We are candidates endorsed by the Newport News Caucus of Rank and File Educators (NN-VCORE). Learn more about my running mates and NN-VCORE's values on those pages.

Lastly, don't forget to vote in the NNEA elections, May 9 to May 19. Check your school mailbox for your paper ballot. Details about what to expect in the election process are on the Vote! page, as well as resources for whom to contact if you encounter problems.

A vote for me and my running mates is a vote for a stronger union and brighter future for our members!

Thanks,

Sam Fenzel-Alexander
